Currently, the job market situation in Germany is very good. Employees are sought in various sectors. The industries listed here are particularly interesting.

Germany has a good salary level, but there are significant regional differences in some areas. There is a salary gap from north to south and from west to east. IT

Medicine

There is a very high demand for trained nurses but also for newcomers to the profession. Salaries range from about 2,100 to 3,400 euros per month. In a leadership position with more responsibility, the salary is often above 3,800 euros and more. Knowledge of the German language is absolutely necessary. Doctors in Germany have a very high reputation. Accordingly, they also have a high salary level, often ranging from 6,500 to 8,500 euros; specialists with a lot of professional experience quickly earn 10,000 euros or more. German is a must at a good level, and preferably an additional foreign language such as English or French.

 

Care

Jobs in nursing are also available for career starters and career changers. German is not strictly necessary, but should be learned. Salaries vary by area between 1,800 and 2,500 euros, with longer work experience up to 3,200 euros. There is a very high demand for jobs in nursing.

 

Gastronomie / Bar / Hotel / Tourismus

In all areas, from room cleaning to the kitchen to management, staff are being sought. Full-time and part-time positions are often available. Depending on the area of deployment, a professional qualification is required, and foreign languages are an advantage. Thus, a cleaning staff member can find a part-time job even without German language skills. In management, multilingualism with a good education is essential. Often, seasonal staff are used particularly in the gastronomy and tourism sectors. In the entry-level positions, salaries range between €1,300 and €1,900. In the middle management sector, they are generally around €3,500, and in management, they start at €5,000 and upwards. In the gastronomy sector, tips are also added.


Craft

Craftsmen are being sought, but only with good training. Knowledge of the German language is necessary. Salaries range from 2,300 euros to 3,900 euros depending on the region, industry, and qualifications. In a managerial position with more responsibility, salaries of over 4,000 euros are not uncommon.

Very well suited as a part-time job, for example during studies or training. People in this field are over 75% women, who are then booked as performers according to the assignments. Due to often changing work locations, time flexibility is necessary, and since there are often international colleagues at the production site, German is not strictly required. The earnings strongly depend on how much one wants to work. Payment is made directly after an order.

The fees depend on the production, the respective project, and one's own willingness to be involved. In the entry-level range, daily wages average between 500 euros and 700 euros. With a corresponding number of assignments and increasing experience, one can quickly earn 7,000 euros to 10,000 euros per month.
